Heinrich von Himmel is a very beautiful 12 month old German Shepherd. This confident boy with the darling smile is ready to be your best student. He has the personality of a dog on the go, as if he's ready to go on a walk or to go play anytime you ask him. He has learned to enjoy walking on a leash and he loves to explore the outdoors. He spends much of his walk wagging his tail and eager to see every sight and wanting to sniff all the smells. He can get a bit overly excited when meeting other dogs, especially on leash, but Heinrich listens to both direction and correction and can learn to settle down. Being so young, Heinrich is always looking for fun. Although at a mid-high energy level, after some good exercise, he doesn't mind lounging around with you -- especially if it means cuddles. Around other dogs, Heinrich does best with friendly and easy-going types. He can warn when another dog gets too pushy, but he does listen to you when you ask him to mind his manners and just walks away from the instigator. Heinrich seems to be housebroken and he adores human interaction. He looks forward to going to a home that realizes good dogs don't just happen, they are taught. Heinrich has all the makings of an amazing dog and he’s ready for you to take him there.
